HOW TO APPLY FOR A GRANT
Grant requests for Craven Regional Medical Center Foundation will be accepted four times during FY 2010-2011. Quarterly grant requests are due to the Craven Regional Medical Center Foundation office no later than 5pm on August 20, 2010; January 7, 2011; March 4, 2011; and June 3, 2011. Requestors should submit eight (8) copies plus an original (for a total of 9). Please call the Foundation office at (252) 633-8247 if you have any questions about grant requests or applications.

The Craven County Health Department receives grants from the Craven Regional Medical Center Foundation to help women battle Breast and Cervical Cancer. A grant was given to the Health Department to be used for a Breast and Cervical Cancer screening program for women 18-64 years of age who reside in Craven County. Another grant was given to provide colposcopies with biopsies for women with abnormal Pap Smears.
Ben Bunn, Executive Director of the Craven Regional Medical Center Foundation, said the Foundation is delighted to be able to assist in providing this kind of needed health care support for the Health Department.
